Vintage Leather Strap for Apple Watch Ultra 3/2/1

I sometimes imagine that a vintage-style band would suit the Apple Watch well. When I first bought the watch, there were several band options, but most of the bands sold on the official site are modern in style. So I started looking for a band that had a vintage feel but still looked modern, and that's how I ended up buying this band. The band I purchased has a wide design, which wasn’t exactly the style I was looking for. However, I liked the contrasting stitching on the band, the fact that the leather is full-grain and sturdy, and the overall color combination of the stitching and the leather. This band is specifically designed for the 49mm Ultra Watch, with a wide attachment point, and it’s durable enough for long-term use. One characteristic to note is that my wrist is 180mm, which is a medium size, but I think it would look great on someone with a larger wrist. This band is better suited for winter than summer wear.

Arguably, this band is too big for my wrist. But I knew that as a possibility, and I wanted a leather band that was suited for the 49mm Ultra watch. I have it on the last notch and the leather still needs to be broken in. May be useful feedback if you’ve got a smaller wrist.Regardless, the band looks great. It was packaged nicely. The hardware matches my watch well. The leather is thick. It smells like leather! While I was inclined to say 5 stars, I am deducting one star because the connectors at the watch are not completely snug and don’t sit flush. (I depict this in about the last 30 sec of the video.) I suppose this may contribute to fatigue in the materials over time. Probably more likely for dirt, skin, and fibers to work their way under the lip, as well. Neither of which is ideal

So I have a thing for switching out my watchband a lot! And I have never tried a leather one on the new Apple smart watches. This one adds a nice classy touch to the new tech.The ultra two with the silver border matches super well with the brown leather to me. That’s why I picked it over the black leather band. But I think the black leather band would look great too.I don’t think you could go wrong with either of these watch bands for the new ultra two or even an older Apple Watch.

That’s the band he uses when he goes to meetings or job interviews. A little stiff at first, but softening up. Real leather and had that leather smell. Very nice watch band and he says it’s comfortable!

I purchased the brown version of this band for use on an Apple Watch Ultra, which is the biggest watch Apple makes. It attaches easily to the watch and provides a very secure fit. Initially the leather was pretty stiff and still is to a degree but you have to take into consideration the thickness of the leather; this isn’t a cheap flimsy watch band. I have worn it with both business attire and casual dress and received compliments on the brown color and overall style of the leather and clasp. I have been using the band now for about two weeks and the leather has become more flexible allowing the band to be easier to remove. If you’re looking for a solid no frills leather watch band, this one deserves consideration.

This full grain leather band from Ultra Supply Company is an amazing band to say the least. This isn't my first band from Ultra Supply, so I knew it would Ultra Special to begin with. And it is Ultra Special. It's a VERY think full grain leather and it's 26mm wide, which is a better complement to my Apple Watch Ultra. The hardware, which is Stainless Steel, is a perfect color match to the Titanium on my Ultra Watch, so it was purpose built for Apple Watch Ultra. The extra stitching one either side of the band near the connectors give this a vintage look, but it's also modern and will work with just about any attire. This would not be a good workout band, however. Sweat and leather aren't exactly good friends.Note that out of the box, the band will be pretty stiff. This is not a soft leather. It is the kind of leather which over time will soften and it's also the kind of leather which last for years, maybe even decades. Just make sure you aren't expecting softness at the get go. I've now worn it a couple of days and it's already softening up. It will only get better with time.You can certainly buy a leather band for less money. But for the price of admission, you will be hard pressed to find a better leather band for your Apple Watch Ultra than this band. Ultra Supply is an independent US Based company and I really appreciate the quality they build into their products. It's great to support a local company! Yes, it is!

I've been a fan of Ultra Supply for a while. I have a few of their bands. This new leather version is stout. Seriously it is about as thick as my 10-12oz harness leather belts. It sort of feels like the Iron Ranger of watch bands. It's thick and tough to get on. Once it breaks in it is pretty tough and conforms really well though. Get it wet, wear it dry, and condition it.The lugs lock up great on my Ultra 2 and the metal matches spot on like my other lugs from USC. My only complaint is that the band is made of two pieces of mid-tier leather bonded to create the thickness. It is leather, probably a cheaper full grain, and seems very well done but time will tell how it holds up to abuse.

This watch band has a nice vintage look and is the best thing about this band for me. The leather is super stiff and takes an extra long time to soften just from wearing it. I used some mink oil to soften it and found that the leather was quite dry and thirsty. The cut of the leather is not perfect and the edges in particular have some weak spots. The buckle is sturdy and the color matches my Apple Watch Ultra perfectly. In this price range, it could be made of titanium and not plain steel. The connecting clasps are a tiny bit too small and don't fit properly. Not a big issue for me. The good thing about the clasps is that they are interchangeable and the watch band can be used on other non-Apple watches as well. Overall, it is an overpriced but good band and with better final inspection and more attention to detail, it would be close to perfect.

I've been wanting a premium leather band for my first gen Ultra and this one fits the bill. It's thick but still fits nicely under a cuff. It's about as thick as Apple's ocean band that came with my watch.From my pictures you can compare the thicknesses and how well the strap connects to the watch. In my opinion, it rests against the watch well enough. Tolerances are a thing and I don't expect a third-party band to sit in the channels as well as an Apple band.One thing that could be improved is the hole placements. My wrist is about 7.5" and the buckle is on the second to last hole for a good fit.Overall, I would recommend this band, although I haven't tried leather bands at cheaper price points. The current price does seem a bit steep - you can get a nice leather belt at this price range.

This watchband definitely feels sturdy. The leather feels a bit tough and rigid. But that may be because it needs time to be broken in a bit. Other than that this is a really nice watchband. It gives your watch a classic look and feel to it.
